Glendalough Distillery was founded in 2011 by friends Barry Gallagher, Brian Fagan, Gary McLoughlin and Kevin Keenan with the intent to emphasise traditional methods of Irish distillation in the belief that the industry and market were ready for a return of independent Irish whiskey.
An exceptional Single Cask whiskey which has been finished in a canteiro Madeira barrel. Expect wonderful fruity notes of white grape, sweet wine, apples and some toffee sweetness.
Is a whiskey from Ireland. It has a sweet and strong aroma of vanilla and honey. You will also find hints of butterscotch. The whiskey was first matured in bourbon barrels and then in Grand Cru Burgundy barrels.
A wonderful pot still whiskey from Glendalough over in the Wicklow Mountains just outside of Dublin. It's made from a 1:2 mashbill of malted and unmalted Irish barley, and obviously distilled in a pot still
Glendalough Double Barrel Irish Whiskey is a single grain Irish whiskey, initially matured in American bourbon barrels before enjoying a finishing period of six months in Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks.
