A 1998 vintage Ledaig from independent bottlers Gordon & Macphail as part of their Connoisseurs Choice range, bottled in 2014. Ledaig is the name for peated whisky produced at Tobermory on the Isle of Mull.
Ah, Ledaig. A peated malt from Tobermory that struts its peaty stuff with a confidence usually reserved for Islay malts. This bottling from Douglas Laing was matured in a single refill hogshead that yielded 349 bottles after ten years.
